Pool Maintenance Manager

We need a dedicated and dependable Pool Maintenance Manager, a key role in ensuring our customers' swimming pools is always in top condition, thereby maintaining their satisfaction.

JOB PURPOSE

• Test the pH of the swimming pool water, add chlorine, acid, and other chemicals to correct the pH, and repair light fittings, leaks, cracks, and faulty equipment.
• Adept knowledge and experience in swimming pool equipment and maintenance, including the safe handling of hazardous chemicals, is a must.
• The ability to engage with clients in a warm and professional manner is a crucial aspect of this role, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Serve as a central point of liaison with internal and external clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
• Attend and represent the company at Expos and Trade shows where necessary.
• Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels at the warehouse and vehicle.
• Testing swimming pool water pH and chlorine levels.
• Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct pH levels.
• Cleaning the swimming pool using authorized equipment.
• Replacing globes in underwater light fittings.
• Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming pool structure.
• Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for pools.
• Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment.
• Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.
• Pay courtesy calls to current and prospective customers
• Expedite the resolution of customer issues and complaints, capitalize on feedback
• Outline the specifics of the products and demonstrate usage to the customers, which involves providing technical support

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

(a)  Education:

•   Certificate in the related field

(b)   Experience:

• A minimum of five (5) years of pool maintenance-related experience
• Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and equipment repairs.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Previous experience as a pool technician.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
