The Depot/Plant Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the Annotto Bay Depot. The position handles receipt, storage and delivery of LPG cylinders to customers in the region.

Depot/Plant Supervisor – Annotto Bay

The Depot/Plant Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the Annotto Bay Depot.  The position handles receipt, storage and delivery of LPG cylinders to customers in the region. The Job holder's overriding responsibility is to ensure the efficiency and integrity of all the processes required for the safe receipt, storage and delivery of products, in a manner which meets the needs of customers while ensuring the proper accounting for movement of product in and out of the facility.

 He/she:

  • Ensures that the plant and all equipment are in good working condition at all times in order to maintain a smooth and uninterrupted plant operation.
  • Forecasts daily requirements for cylinders and make the necessary plans to meet the requirements.
  • Oversees the receipt of packed (cylinder) stocks in accordance with established operational and safety guidelines and ensures that the plant is operating in compliance with agreed operating and safety standards.
  • Works with relevant operations team to implement programmes of preventive maintenance and manages response to breakdown maintenance.
  • Ensures that exceptional customer service is delivered consistently with timely responses to customer queries and resolution of complaints.
  • Leads, provides coaching and development support for direct reports.
  • Monitors the daily movement of product and assets to and from the network, ensuring that all have been accurately accounted for, and to enforce compliance with the regulatory and established industry standards concerning asset quality checks and record keeping.

 

The successful candidate should have:

  • Diploma or equivalent certification in a Technical Discipline
  • Minimum two (2) years working experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Proven ability at customer relationship management
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Software
