The Planner / Scheduler prepares and maintains project schedules.

Currently Recruiting for:

PLANNER / SCHEDULER

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bid preparation and Requests for Quotation
  • Prepare and maintain Project Schedules
  • Establish sequence and lead time of each project to meet completion date
  • Track, monitor project, manpower, 3rd parties, costs and other project-related items
  • Host weekly project meetings
  • Monitor and manage project invoicing and receivables
  • Interact with the project teams to define scope of work
  • Develop Bill of Material

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • CAPM OR PMP would be an asset
  • Candidate must be able to start immediately/within 7 days
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Planner/Scheduler
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in a similar industry

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Computer Literacy – ability to use technology and software including MS Office, specifically MS Projects at an intermediate/advanced level.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Familiarity with the operation of hydraulic and pneumatic pump systems.
  • Understanding of Fluid Dynamics: Basic knowledge of fluid flow principles, pressure, and pump characteristics.
  • Instrumentation and Control Systems: Familiarity with control systems, flow meters, and monitoring equipment used in pump operations.
  • Assist with mooring and Unmooring of the Test Barge based on schedule
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to monitor and track pump performance, identify issues early, and report any discrepancies to the control room.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to report operational status, maintenance needs, and emergencies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems, identifying solutions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Offshore operations are collaborative, and the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing conditions is essential.
