Senior Pipe Fitter Technician (negotiable)

Junior Pipe Fitter Technician (negotiable)

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Installing and Working with CPVC Piping, Black Steel and Groove Pipe
• Consults blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions; creates working procedure based on specifications.
• Fitting Industrial Carbon Steel, Stainless Pipe, CPVC Piping.
• Grinding & Bevelling Pipe
• Gathers equipment and materials for the job.
• Laying out, welding, cutting, bending, threading, soldering, assembling and/or installing Pipe
• Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, or clamps, cuts or bores holes prior to project.
• Pressure Test Pipe Systems to Ensure Safety and Functionality
• Installs various types of insulation and pipe covering; safely removes and properly discards of old coverings according to hazardous waste procedures and complies with applicable safety and building codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Coordinates with manager to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruption to operations.
• Installing, Modifying and Repairing Fluid Systems
• Rebuilding Various Types of Pumps
• Maintains records, including safety logs and inspection details.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Qualifications in a related or similar field will be an asset.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in Pipe Fitting (Mandatory)

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. (Mandatory)
• Effective organization and planning skills. (Mandatory)
• Must have a valid driver’s license. And five (5) years of driving experience. (Mandatory)
• Ability to work varied hours/days including evenings and/or weekends. (Mandatory)
• Ability to work independently.
