The primary focus of this role would be to provide staffing services for hosts and employees, administer payroll and benefits, take disciplinary actions, and maximize employee retention and compliance with labor laws.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to departmental leaders on host conduct, labor relations, policy implementation through training and advice on managing progressive discipline.
  • Manage records and documentation related to hosts, including labor contracts, payroll, permits, and other administrative issues.
  • Apply state laws, departmental rules and regulations, adhering to CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) and ILC (Individual Labor Agreement) definitions in transactions related to record keeping, certifications, payroll, and processing of personnel documents.
  • Evaluate all personnel documents and determined pay and incident document processing.
  • Manage labor records (time and days worked) and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain employment records related to the life cycle of employees, such as hiring, firing, leaves, transfers or promotions, using the People and Culture management system software.
  • Prepare monthly reports to measure the to measure the impact of strategies and achievement of objectives, (KPI's, leave, payroll adjustments).
  • Oversee the induction of new hires by explaining and interpreting to the Hosts, people and culture and company policies
  • Verify the preparation of the annual payroll budget, ensuring that the occupancy guidelines are respected with the number of Hosts projected each month, in order to enforce the staff budget.
  • Facilitate internal communication within the company, ensuring that relevant information reaches all levels of the organization in a timely and effective manner.
  • Follow up on staff services and benefits such as transportation, food, uniforms, ID badges, insurance and immigration procedures for foreign workers, and others.
  • Supervise the People and Culture office and the Personnel Administration staff.
  • Conduct periodic scheduled audits of payroll records and database to ensure ongoing accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on company personnel, generating reports and analysis to support strategic decision making.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 2-3 years of experience in human resources or a related field
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
    • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required
