Job Description: Payroll Clerk
Location: Central, Freeport
PAYROLL CLERK
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly Payroll for approx. 200 employees
- Maintaining payroll information by collecting, verifying, calculating and entering data into both Excel and Micropay
- Calculating payroll expense by determining employee Gross Salary and Statutory deductions
- Updating employee pay information with changes for Bank Assignment, Deductions and Other Benefits
- Preparation of reports that include summary of wages information for various departments
- Maintaining and Updating employee leave record
- Preparation and distribution of Wages and Overtime payments on a fortnightly and weekly basis
Qualifications:
- Five (5) CXC Subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English
- Level I ACCA or CAT
- Atleast Two (2) years payroll experience
- Intermediate understanding of Micropay
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Word
- A good understanding of NIS and BIR Laws and Regulations
