We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage our company’s payroll operations efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of payroll processing, compliance with statutory regulations, and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:
    • Accurately process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for employees.
    • Ensure timely and accurate entry of payroll data including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
    • Calculate and process payments of overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.

 

  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and file payroll tax reports and other necessary documentation.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll records.

 

  • Employee Support:
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, resolving any issues promptly and accurately.
    • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll information.

 

  • Systems Management:
    • Manage and update payroll software systems.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement any necessary system upgrades and improvements.

 

  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions.
    • Generate payroll reports for management and other departments as required.

 

  • General Administrative Support:
    • Support the finance and HR departments with other tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll processes, statutory regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

 

Working Conditions:

  • This is a fixed-term contract position with the potential for extension.
  • Work may require occasional extended hours during peak periods.
