Accounts Assistant (Capital Investments Sector) 

Overview: Our client is a dynamic and multifaceted organisation with three distinct arms aimed at fostering innovation, supporting entrepreneurs and established business’s to driving growth by supplying investment and on-going support. Due to the upturn in activity, they are seeking to add a proven professional to the team in Barbados.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting with the accounts payable and receivable functions, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance.

• Recording data and producing clear financial reports.

• Complying with all accounting and financial regulations.

• Tracking expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other
• financial dealings of company.

• Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data (weekly, monthly
• and yearly).

• Maintaining accurate financial records.

• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.

• Monitoring accounts payable and receivable.

• Ensuring timely processing of payroll.

• Providing accounting services to one or more Portfolio
• Companies.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Part Qualified ACCA (Level 2) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Xero would be an asset but not essential.
• Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Knowledge of and experience in Crypto accounting would be
• considered an asset but not essential.
