The Project Manager - Grounds, Landscape is responsible to provide strategic support in the negotiation, administration and management of the grounds and landscape activities to achieve the Company’s goals, operational efficiency and cost control.
The Project Manager - Grounds and Landscape is responsible to provide strategic support in the negotiation, administration and management of the grounds activities to achieve the Company’s goals, operational efficiency and cost control.
Note: This position is in Hanover.
Specific Knowledge Required
- Knowledge of monitoring strategies and the ability to perform profitability analysis surveys to determine the viability of the respective contracts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the contents of MMS’s Operations Manual
- Knowledge of Computer spread sheet and analytical software applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MMS’s Policies, procedures and practices
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety policies and practices
- Working knowledge of Horticultural techniques and the selection and purchase of relevant tools, machinery and equipment.
Qualification & Experience
- Tertiary level education in Agricultural Studies or Business Administration
- Certification in Horticultural studies would be an asset
- A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar capacity with at least one (1) year’s exposure to Landscaping and Plant Husbandry
- Experience in or exposure to the Tender processes, Contracts award and Administration and Grounds & Landscaping techniques
