People and Culture Specialist

National Rums of Jamaica Limited is looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join our team and drive HR innovation through analytics, research, and strategic execution!
We need someone who thrives on HR data analytics, Power BI, Excel, and HRIS management while staying ahead of emerging HR and people management trends. You will also play a key role in internal communications by leading the development of our quarterly staff magazine!

- Flexible & Mobile – Will be based at the head office but must travel to Clarendon weekly on assignment. A reliable motor vehicle is required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Talent Management & Recruitment – Oversee hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
- HR Analytics & Reporting – Utilize Power BI & Excel to generate insightful HR reports.
- HR Systems & Digital Transformation – Manage HRIS and ensure seamless integration.
- Compensation & Benefits – Process payroll and oversee benefits administration.
- Employee Engagement & Culture – Research and implement engagement strategies.
- Performance Management – Guide managers on effective performance evaluations.
- Compliance & Policy Development – Ensure compliance with Jamaican Labour Laws.
- Training & Development – Support initiatives for employee learning and growth.
- Internal Communications – Lead the development of the quarterly internal staff magazine, collaborating with various departments to highlight company achievements, employee stories, and industry insights.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate is required to have a minimum of:
- B.Sc. Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Supervisory or Leadership Training (preferred).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
The successful candidate should:
- Have five (5) years' experience in a similar HR role with a strong focus on analytics and technology.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and HRIS software is a MUST.
