Location: South

• Manage the tax compliance duties and overall reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment and filing of tax returns:
• Prepare Tax forecast for review with Management;
• Conduct financial analysis for tax preparation;
• Execute year-end and interim tax computations and prepare tax notes for the financial statements;
• Maintain rapport with the relevant tax authorities, ensuring continuous communication to resolve open matters;
• Liaise with the company’s external auditors on tax queries and provide solutions;
• Stay updated on current tax legislations and inform the business;
• Prepare tax advice on oil and gas transactions and make recommendations;
• Contribute to tax planning opportunities.
• Manage tax audits by tax authorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

The job holder must have:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Oil and Gas Taxes in Trinidad and Tobago
• ACCA qualified or relevant degree in Accountancy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications with emphasis on Excel
