Opportunity Overview:

KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (KJESS) operating from the Kingston office, is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).The Events and Meetings function is expanding operations at JESS by hiring an Officer to provide support to the process.  Team members within the delivery center work with Client’s stakeholders under a team extension model to support Client’s back office operations.

  

Job Profile

KPMG Jamaica's delivery center, Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), is seeking a Meeting Services Coordinator. This role involves collaborating with KPMG United States to support the development and execution of in-person, hybrid, and virtual programs and events using various event-related technology tools and platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process cross-checks of data across Cvent, Focus, and Housing platforms to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage the Program Delivery Support Mailbox.
  • Facilitate reservation and travel communications, edit as required, and manage deadlines.
  • Upload participant lists into Cvent and manage attendee needs.
  • Support the Meetings on Demand program with process, timelines, and expectations.
  • Review reports related to room attrition, reservation due dates, and departures.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience preferably within a events and meetings team or professional services firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Cvent knowledge preferred.
