Medical Representative (Smith Rob)

This individual will be responsible for providing a direct medical marketing service to assigned medical practitioners and pharmacies.

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic, results-driven individual to support the brands of one of our International Business Partners in the role of Medical Representative. This individual will be responsible for providing a direct medical marketing service to assigned medical practitioners and pharmacies. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops plans and growth strategies for assigned territories.
• Ensures that the quality and consistency of service is maintained.
• Schedules appointments and visits with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams.
• Anticipates, assesses, and manages the needs of key customers to increase prescribing/recommending power.
• Keeps up to date with the latest product knowledge to support the interpreting, presenting and discussing of product information with health professionals during presentations. 

 QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc. in Business Administration, Pharmacy or Science.

Certification

• Must have a valid Trinidad & Tobago Class 3 Driver’s Permit.

Experience:

• At least three (2) years’ experience in a similar field. 

Knowledge:

• Selling Skills and Objection Handling
• Technological (Excel, PPT, Word)

• Negotiation Capabilities
• Compliance
• Self-motivated and committed to driving sales.
• Ability to work with minimal direction while building excellent working relationships to attain team goals.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
• Positive attitude, values and work ethic.
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities. 

Additional Requirements:

• Must own a motor vehicle.
• Be willing and able to travel when required.
• Be willing and able to work outside of standard work hours, including weekends.
