Mechanical/Maintenance Technician

To maintain the Company’s plant, equipment and facilities in accordance with established standards, specifications and approved procedures.

• SOME KEY DUTIES

   

  • Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance checks, inspections and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the approved maintenance schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify routine mechanical plant and equipment problems in accordance with established standards, specifications and procedures.
  • Provide assistance in the installation and testing of mechanical plant, equipment and auxiliaries
  • Carry out basic welding and fabricating functions required to achieve maintenance work targets.
  • Compile maintenance records and reports in accordance with approved company procedures and procedures.
  • Participate in the conduct of maintenance projects as required.
  • Identify and report real and potential issues and non-conformances and suggest possible solutions.
  • Adherence to the Company’s established good manufacturing practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Quality requirements.
  • Actively promote, support and comply with Kiss Baking Company Limited’s established Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and industry best practices.
  • Performs any other job-related duties as directed by Supervisor/Manager.

   

   

  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

   

  • Certificate or diploma in M.E.E.E.T. or E.E.E.T. or higher.
  • Suitable combination of training and work experience (3-4 years) in the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Willingness to rotate in a three (3) shift system
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
