Marketing & Support Officer

Are you a creative, and detail-oriented marketing professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact? The Jamaica Institute of Financial Services is seeking a Marketing & Support Officer to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support their organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Promotion

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Conduct telemarketing initiatives to boost participation in programs.
  • Create and distribute promotional materials, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Maintain mailing lists and stakeholder databases for outreach and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with partners to enhance visibility and engagement.

Public Relations & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to maintain a strong brand presence.
  • Write and distribute press releases, speeches, and newsletters.
  • Manage and update content across websites and social media platforms.
  • Organize promotional events and outreach initiatives.

Training & Event Support

  • Moderate and host workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Process registrations, respond to inquiries, and manage participant records.
  • Coordinate event logistics, venue bookings, and ensure smooth execution.

Administrative & Reporting Functions

  • Draft and distribute correspondence, meeting notes, and reports.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual activity reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

 What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-focused approach.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
