SMS is looking for a talented Marketing Officer to join our winning Marketing Team! Reporting to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Officer will develop and implement strategies to promote our brand, product, or services. Also engaging target audiences through campaigns, market research, and content creation to drive growth and brand awareness.

What you’ll do:

• Creation of content strategy and copywriting.
• Ideation
• Manage engagement and relevant content for various channels, including blog posts, social media captions, emailers and video scripts.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure regular and consistent posting
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.   
• Manage social media accounts across 2 divisions with fresh content, including videos and article/blogs/emailer.  
• Create and maintain UI design patterns and standards to ensure consistency across all digital products.
• Communicate effectively with all division heads, sales and inventory departments to gather data to improve marketing strategies.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform design and content decisions.
• Research inputs for Marketing Plans/campaigns.
• Pull reports for subsidiaries through Zoho Desk
• Handle public relations responsibilities, including managing the company’s image, communicating with media outlets, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders to enhance our brand reputation.

What we’re looking for:

• Tertiary education in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in content creation
• Proficient in Digital Marketing, SEO, Event Planning, Public Relations and Content management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Zoho Desk is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong Project Management skills
