 Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of:

Marketing Officer

Work closely with the Assistant Manager – Group Marketing to streamline marketing expenditure, conduct research, and review sponsorship proposals.

Ensure that the overall corporate image of Sagicor is always maintained.

Location: Kingston

As a Marketing Officer, you will:

• Assist with the processing of invoices, ensuring that invoices are managed from requisition to payment event/activities recorded on the system, approved as per policy.
• Sponsorship Management activities are reviewed, approved within two (2) days and feedback provided to requestor(s) within specified timeline.
• Monitor expenditure and prepare reports for each execution guided by the approved budget.
• Contribute positively to the internal client experience by exceeding service level expectations.
• Supporting the Assistant Manager – Group Marketing in day-to-day expense management activities.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in marketing or related field, including experience in successfully executing marketing activities and, preferably, experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and techniques.
• Action-oriented with a strong drive for success.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Sound knowledge of personal computing applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, database management.
