Marketing Analyst

This position is responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of analytics to track the success of print and broadcast media, digital advertising and trending content across various platforms.

• Monitors and analyses market trends, sales data and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement across various platforms.
• Prepares reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance both sales and editorial content.
• Interprets data and assist with the development of strategies to enhance the Company’s positioning in alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of content across various platforms and recommend improvements for news and non-news products, inclusive of all advertising.
• Assists with the preparation and presentation of insights to stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable and actionable strategies.
• Collaborates with Editorial, Sales and Advertising teams to ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligned with audience interests.
• Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in marketing analytics.
• Assists with training and support on best practices, jargon for digital media and search engine optimization.
• Conducts competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the digital landscape.
• Performs any other duties which are incidental or consequential to the above, as may be assigned by the Head of Department or representative.
