Our client, the Trinidad and Tobago Trade and Investment Promotion Agency invites applicants for the position of Manager, Risk and Compliance.
The Manager, Risk & Compliance is responsible for leading and directing the Agency’s risk management and organizational effectiveness through continuous monitoring, evaluation, assessment and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) against targets, as well as alignment of initiatives against objectives. The incumbent will develop, implement and maintain a formal, comprehensive, regulatory compliance programme and oversee an effective operational Risk & Compliance management framework that aligns with the Agency’s strategy and goals and mitigates risks.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management
MBA or equivalent advanced degree would be an asset
Certifications or Licenses in any/combination of the following Risk Management, Audit, Sustainability Accounting Credential would be an asset
5-6 years experience in business or finance, risk management, compliance, or legal function, 3 years of which at a managerial level
Key Accountabilities
Implement a comprehensive and robust risk, compliance and governance framework that engages all relevant stakeholders
Oversee the risk, compliance, and governance framework Manage the development of Risk Management policies, procedures and systems
Report on the Agency’s overall performance as measured by process-focused KPIs
Ensure the agency’s Results Chain i.e.projects, products, services and activities, are aligned to its strategic goals
Support human resource management by participating in the performance management and disciplinary processes
