Manager, Contracts and Governance
The successful candidate is responsible for overseeing the management of all contract and governance-related functions across the organization while ensuring adherence to corporate governance principles. This role ensures that all agreements align with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices. The incumbent will ensure compliance and work closely with key stakeholders to minimize risks, enhance contractual efficiency, and uphold governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing and overseeing contract and governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Leading decision-making for contract management and governance frameworks.
- Establishing compliance metrics and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining corporate policies and procedures to align with best practices and organizational objectives.
- Supporting the negotiation of contract terms, including service levels, fees, and financial obligations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensuring compliance with governance policies and reporting deviations to senior leadership for corrective action.
- Acting as the primary liaison between internal departments, suppliers, customers, and external parties on all contractual and governance matters.
- Leading cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement process enhancements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Training employees on contract policies and governance frameworks to ensure adherence to company protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; legal or corporate governance certification (e.g., Chartered Governance Professional) preferred.
- Proven experience in contract management and corporate governance, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
