Job Summary

The team leader is accountable for leading all engineering and maintenance services in the hotel through his multi-skilled, flexible maintenance colleagues.  He centers the work of the department on Ken-Fix-It (a multi-skilled, flexible approach to the use of the skilled manpower), the Preventative Maintenance Programme and properly prepared projects as part of the routine maintenance of the hotel. 

The ideal candidate must:

• Possess minimum five (5) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English with Ranges 1 - 3
• Have qualifications in Electrical/Instrumentation, AC/Refrigeration or Plant Management from a recognized institution
• Have a minimum of Two (2) years’ experience in same or a similar position
• Have sound understanding of handling and using electrical repair tools and equipment.
• Be knowledgeable in all fields of repairs and maintenance of equipment (Boilers, Stoves, A/C units, Chillers, etc.) Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Be able to build and motivate a team
• Be willing to work in challenging situations, flexible hours and any day of the week.

Knowledge of hotel property management system (RDP) would be an asset
