Special Requirements and Key Competences
BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum three(3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate staff
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong quality and safety commitment
Unquestionable integrity
Flexible and able to work under pressure
High level of hands-on technical experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers, automation, and electrical systems.
Principal Responsibilities
Prepare and maintainbudget in keeping with operational guidelines
Maintain processes, utilities, facilities, and safety/security systems
Collaborate with all departments to improve equipment capabilities and achieve maximum output
Perform duties aimed at reducing line operating costs, increasing product quality and productivity
Implement and maintainGood Manufacturing Practices, regulatory and company guidelines
Design, implement and coordinate preventative maintenance systems
Manage performance and inspire staff development
