The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management, operation, and efficient maintenance of the hotel facilities. They need to ensure the comprehensive supervision of the maintenance department, from personnel management, energy control and strategic planning.
Resource Management
Supervise and coordinate the management of tools, equipment, and materials needed for maintenance. Efficiently manage the personnel in charge and coordinate with external companies for specialized services. Respond to corporate and management inquiries.
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
Develop, implement, and comply with preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure the optimal operation of the facilities. Coordinate regular inspections and take corrective action as needed.
Cost Management
Monitor and control maintenance-related costs, optimizing the use of financial resources. Set budgets, perform cost analysis, and look for savings opportunities without compromising quality.
Energy Management
Implement strategies to improve energy efficiency in hotel operations. Monitor energy use, identify areas for improvement, and carry out projects to reduce energy consumption.
Relations with External Companies
Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers and contractors. Manage contracts, monitor third-party performance, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Compliance with Regulations and Procedures
Ensure compliance with all local regulations and internal procedures related to safety, environment, and maintenance regulations. Promote the fulfillment of the Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Objectives of the company among the different members of the department, to help fulfill the service promise made to the Guest.
