This position is responsible for providing support to the various logistics and operations functions throughout the group.

Logistics Clerk

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, people-oriented, individual to provide support to the various logistics and operations functions throughout the group. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Ports island-wide liaising with Principals, terminals, agencies, and customers while providing exceptional service according to our company standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Collection of delivery orders and execute delivery of shipments for the group.
• Provide inhouse brokerage service for consignment.
• Effect lodgement and payment of customs related activities.
• Effect lodgement and payment for terminal related activities.
• Provide liaison services to third party shipping lines, NVOCC, Customs & Port
• Assists with Tallying container contents
• Assist in the provision of logistics husbandry support for vessels throughout the group.
• Assist in the provision of logistics services to third party vessels.
• Assist in the provision of specialized logistics services to cruise vessels at all ports across Jamaica.

Requirements:

• School leaving certificate or at least 3 CSEC subjects
• 10+ years driving experience
• Experience in Customs Act and Processes
• Air and seaport documentation and operations
• Open General Licences 
• Own a reliable motorbike
