Warehouse Coordinator Inventory Is responsible for the effective inventory management processes and standards throughout our logistics and supply chain within our organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  The effective inventory management processes and standards throughout our logistics and supply chain.
  •  Embedding procedures and way of working to ensure full compliance and execution of inventory control measures.
  • Ensuring excellence in documentation control and reporting in support of the department’s data management agenda. 

PLANNING & ORGANIZING: Supports the demand planning and procurement process by ensuring accuracy and quality of inventory to promote an agile procurement process

   
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Embed inventory techniques such as daily, weekly, and audited quarterly cycle counts whilst assisting to rationalize inventory (obsolescence).

  • Effectively review surplus inventory and obsolescence to support depletion and demand planning process.
  • Ensure full compliance to FEFO (First Entry; First out) and batch management.
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and stock counts at agreed intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) ensuring reconciliations of all locations (to include virtual and offsite warehouse locations).
  • Auditing of the damages returns from trade activities to ensure compliance.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree in operations Mgmt. Business Administration/Management Studies/Supply Chain Professional qualifications.     
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a warehouse environment.  
  • Knowledgeable of an Inventory Management system – (Examples - SAP, ORACLE etc)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
