Job Summary:
The Laundry Technician is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance on laundry machinery and equipment. This role ensures machines function optimally to support uninterrupted laundry operations while complying with hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
- Resolve electromechanical faults and ensure optimal machine settings (e.g., wash time, temperature, pressure).
- Implement and track the Preventive Maintenance Plan (TPM).
- Request necessary parts and coordinate with the Warehouse and Laundry Manager.
- Maintain safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance in all work areas.
- Report status of work orders and machine issues during daily briefings.
- Stay updated with new technical requirements and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or technical certification in Mechanics or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in equipment maintenance (preferably laundry systems).
- Knowledge of industrial safety, gas installations, and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret diagrams and install/set up equipment.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
