The Key Account Manager conducts liaisons and manages projects

JOB SUMMARY

The Key Account Manager conducts liaisons and manages projects executed between Beryllium, Marksman Ltd, Guardsman Ltd and Guardsman Metaverse. The role also entails administering to the guard force assigned to Beryllium and providing feedback to the senior leadership on commonalities and agreements among the three companies.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaising with the Beryllium and Guard Force SLT to support Beryllium’s Cash in Transit and ATM operations.
  • Liaising with Beryllium HR and HR Shared Services to resolve administrative challenges experienced by officers.
  • Maintaining a detailed record of all infractions committed by officers and observing the appropriate measures based on HR guidelines and procedures.
  • Conducting a quarterly audit of all bulletproof vests and other controlled items and provide feedback for senior leadership to take a decision. 
  • Analysing operational vehicle ergonomics and generate report on how it affects the sustainability of the officers.
  • Maintaining a detailed absentee report to advise HR, senior operation managers and directors.
  • Ensuring that all Beryllium branches are fully furnished daily with the quantity of armed officers required to sustain their operations.
  • Monitoring the expiration and renewals for officers’ PSRA and FLA permits
  • Planning and executing weapon handling training and range exercises for all armed officers assigned to Beryllium
  • Packaging and dispatching payslips for officers at all Beryllium branches during payment periods and subsequently submitting a report to confirm dispatch
  • Submitting a daily ‘Request for Armed Officers’ report to all regional managers between 1800 hrs and 1930 hrs
  • Submitting a daily ‘Manpower Status’ report to senior leadership between 0800 hrs and 0900 hrs depicting the request compliance by the guarding companies.
  • Calculating and recording all salary and deduction discrepancies experienced by the officers and liaising with Finance Department to arrive at a sustainable solution.
  • Recommending to the regional manager that officers be integrated or removed from Beryllium’s CIT/ATM operations based on HR policies and guidelines.
  • Liaising with the Firearm Administrative Department in recommending the adding or removing of a weapon from an officer’s FLA permit.
  • Authorising officer’s leave request based on HR policies and guidelines and subsequently submitting the relevant documents to HR Shared Services.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

This job is satisfactorily performed when:

  • Officers receive their payslips in a timely manner.
  • All Beryllium branches are furnished daily with the required quantity of officers.
  • All officers possess an active PSRA card and FLA permit.
  • Officers are adequately trained to operate the weapons provided for asset protection.
  • There is a significant reduction in absenteeism. 
  • Discrepancies with salary are noted and reported in a timely manner
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE
  • A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or equivalent, preferred
  • Certificate in Project Management
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity within the security (Private or Public) or any other industry
