Wisynco Group Limited seeks to hire a Junior Warehouse Supervisor, to join our innovative team!

Job Summary:

The Junior Warehouse Supervisor has responsibility to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained, aisles are clean and well organized, and the correct procedures for picking items from the aisle are done to ensure the smooth transition and preparation of goods to be transported from the warehouse to the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coaching and motivating team members
  • Supervising all assigned team members to ensure that the team is achieving set standards, as well as meeting demands
  • Maintain adequate stock levels as stipulated for each product, placed in the appropriate areas of the aisle to ensure that products are readily available for picking
  • Ensure that flipped pallets are readily available for Pickers
  • Monitor and ensure proper stock rotation according to the expiration dates of products
  • Ensure that aisles are clean and organized at all time and are free of debris such as cardboards, plastics, pallets and lose products
  • Monitor the Back to Stock team to ensure that goods are returned to their respective picking locations, with damaged goods recorded and sent to the Rework department
  • Report any incidents of pilferage to Supervisor, Manager, Deputy Director, Director or Security Personnel. Aisle Coordinators will be held responsible for pilfered items
  • Ensure that no idling occurs in the aisle; only persons completing an immediate task should be allowed in the aisle
  • Any other duties that may be assigned within the scope of the job

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and skills:

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in related field and/or,
  • Minimum five (5) CSEC passes including English A and Mathematics/Principles of Accounts with at least five (5) years’ experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in managing a team; recruiting, training, etc.
  • Pilferage prevention record
  • Self-motivated, team player
  • Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both in written and verbal formats with
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people management skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage the shift independently
  • Ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented and able to work at a high standard
