Job description – Junior Technician/Handyman

DESCRIPTION:

The Junior Technician/Handyman is responsible for assisting in with the delivery, servicing and installation of goods and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct daily inspection of building and report issues
• Assist with basic maintenance of the building. (includes with changing or adjusting door lock repairs, routine plumbing leaks, basic electrical repairs etc)
• Oversee the cleanliness of CSL Compound, (includes sweeping and washing when necessary)
• Assists with the installation, maintenance, and operation of equipment (schedule and unscheduled)
• Prepare customer quotes/ Service reports when necessary.
• Assist with the checking and delivery of goods and equipment
• Wash the company vehicles as scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Must have good working knowledge of small power hand tools.
• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Building Technology ( NESC will be an asset)
• The candidate must be able to travel to Caribbean countries. (when necessary)
• The candidate must be willing to work and travel between all our offices (Trinidad & Guyana)
• The candidate must possess at least 5 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English
• Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office ( will be an
