The Junior Business Application Developer will work closely with business units and senior developers to identify needs, create solutions, and enhance productivity through the use of technology.

About Us: KPMG Jamaica's delivery center, Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), located in Kingston, is dedicated to providing professional services and support to KPMG United States. We are committed to excellence and innovation, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Global Service Transition Specialist.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery
•Develop, test, and maintain applications and workflows.
•Assist in the design and implementation of software applications that meet business objectives.
•Provide support and troubleshooting for developed applications, ensuring optimal performance.
•Participate in user training and onboarding sessions, offering guidance on the use of new applications.
•Document application designs, processes, and user guides to ensure clarity and ease of use.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
•Familiarity with no-code/low-code development platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps).
•Knowledge of database management and basic SQL. 
•Understanding of UI/UX principles and design is a plus

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
•Expected to work in a fast-paced, hybrid team environment.
•Will be required to work a 40-hour work week
•Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
•May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
