Jr. Cambio / Asset Trader

Cambio / Asset Trader Executing Trades: buy and sell orders for various financial instruments based on instructions from senior traders.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
First Degree in Finance, Accounts, Economics, or Business 

EXPERIENCE: 
Two (2) years' work experience in foreign currency trading or 2 years in the banking and/ or finance industry 

Licensed by the Financial Services Commission, or a suitable candidate for licensing 

• Executing Trades:  buy and sell orders for various financial instruments based on instructions from senior traders.
• Market Analysis:  analyze market trends, financial reports, and trading volumes to identify potential trading opportunities and develop strategies.
• Risk Management:  learn to manage risk by monitoring positions, assessing market volatility, and adjusting  trading strategies accordingly.
• Collaboration: work closely with senior traders, research analysts, and other team members to stay informed about market developments and make informed decisions.
• Technology and Systems: Familiarity with trading infrastructure and systems is beneficial.
• Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

■	Working knowledge of f inancial sector laws, regulations, ethics and professional jargon

• ■ Sound knowledge of macro economic factors and their impact on the foreign currency market in the short to medium term
• ■ Sound knowledge of the operations of licensed security dealers
• ■ Excellent oral and written communication skills
• ■ Ability to work with minimum supervision
• ■ Excellent negotiating skills
• ■ Excellent interpersonal skills
• ■ Basic knowledge of forecasting techniques and trend analysis
• ■ High level of proficiency in the use of computers applications
