This position will be responsible for improving overall service levels with our internal and external customers. The role will also be primarily responsible for monitoring service levels throughout our different channels and conducting root cause analysis where necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, tracks and analyses customer orders within the retail, wholesale, van sales, food service and down trade channels.
  • Identifies orders that are not aligned to the Company Policy, ie delivery within 24 to 48 hours of order date.
  • Supports the efficient processing of orders from pick ticket generation to dispatch.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the root cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Connects the Commercial and Warehouse teams ensuring Service Excellence is achieved.
  • Reviews the needs of key customer orders and ensures that priority treatment is provided.
  • Reviews stock availability and recommends correctives action to ensure that monthly targets are met.
  • Assists with projects to develop stock monitoring and replenishment processes.
  • Prepare product or service reports (KPIs) by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Finance and Commercial Departments to ensure orders are released and processed.

 

Position Requirements: 

  •  An Undergraduate Degree in Business Management or any related discipline with one (1) year relevant work       experience or a combination of qualifications and experience.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to navigate Microsoft Excel.
  •  Experience with SYSPRO will be asset.
  •  Experience in an FMCG environment will be an asset.
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential attributes for this role.
