Serve as the financial liaison, ensuring seamless communication with various departments and establishing a robust control environment aligned with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management guidelines to align with organizational policies.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate monthly inventories for raw materials, packaging, finished products, and spare parts (both in-house and third-party). Analyze, report, and reconcile physical vs. theoretical inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Scrap Management: Review and oversee the sale or disposal of scrap materials, identifying risks and establishing controls to prevent fraud or mismanagement.
  • Budget Oversight: Supervise and control plant budgets, focusing on the CTP. Conduct weekly reviews with plant management and other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Budget Planning: Support the preparation of the CTP budget for the upcoming fiscal year, adhering to guidelines from the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Analyze budget deviations and propose adjustments to optimize expenditures.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Actively participate in weekly team meetings to anticipate and address potential variations in production expenses that could impact financial results.

 

Qualifications and Training:

  • ACCA and /or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with expertise in Cost Models, Budget Control, and Financial Analysis.
  • Language Skills: Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Spanish would be considered an asset
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP (FI-CO-ML modules) and Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of industrial processes and accounting principles.
  • Expertise in inventory control and SOX compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP systems and Excel.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • At least 6 years of total experience in financial areas.
