INVESTMENT ANALYST

Applications are invited from persons with suitable qualifications to fill the position of “Investment Analyst” at Republic Wealth Management Limited.

The jobholder is responsible for performing Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management functions as well as periodic reviewing and reporting for a number of trusts managed by the Bank.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishing Statement of Investment Policies for each Trust.
• Ongoing review of Tactical Asset Allocation of each Trust.
• Analyzing investment proposals (domestic and international) to determine suitability and attractiveness for investment by Trust Accounts.
• Implementing Investment recommendations on a timely basis.
• Reviewing periodically financial performance of assigned public companies.
• Preparing investment performance reports to internal and external parties.
• Preparing and making presentations to key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, e.g. Management studies, Economics, Finance.
• Post graduate qualification with an emphasis in Finance or Investments e.g. CFA, MBA.
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the field of finance, investments and portfolio management.
• Working knowledge of local and regional investment environment.
• Expert knowledge of local, regional and international environment.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze investment opportunities to determine their merit and evaluate risks present and make recommendations for purchases and sales.
• Financial Modeling skills.
• Ability to interact with potential investors of varying profiles.
• Strong presentation skills.
