To carry out general warehouse and stores duties in an efficient and accurate manner.
Job Responsibilities
To receive all incoming stock (physically and systematically e.g. CWAS/ RA/ SCANNERS) including but not limited to unloading/offloading/ packing of the goods for and from transporting. Physically checking the goods against the order and shipping documents, inspecting and recording discrepancies and affixing bar code labels as necessary.
To dispatch all outgoing stock for export sales in accordance with policy and procedure
To ensure that all stock is assigned appropriately and conveyed and correctly stored in the designated bin locations and all transactions are properly recorded on the bin stock cards including but not limited to ordering parts from the warehouse.
To order incoming transfers from outgoing depots as well as coordinate deliveries to outgoing depots
To ensure all parts are bin located and packed away in a timely manner physically and on DMS.
No outstanding branch transfers for more than 24hrs
To ensure all costs received are correct by balancing transfers daily via DMS reports
Responsible for accuracy by reconciling stock in a timely manner with proper justifications for adjustments.
To pick and issue stock from their locations in accordance with the pick notes and conveyed to the issuing staging areas. Where necessary pack and mark/tag items for dispatch to the customers which includes proper receiving for SORs physically and systematically and assigning them to their own area.
To work closely with purchasers to assist in information for claims for shortages or surpluses.
To form part of the stock replenishment and conditioning team as required.
Maintain accurate records both manual and computer of all stock transactions including but not limited to goods received notes, pick notes and stock transfers. This includes determining reasons for discrepancies between physical stock and system records and ensure timely corrective action undertaken as well as daily audits.
Monitor and replenish stock in stores so as to avoid stock outs shortages.
Participate in all physical stock counts and cycle counting activities.
To keep all stores areas clean, tidy and organized at all times and clear of packaging and other unwanted materials.
To mantle and dismantle racks/bins and re-organise shelves to optimize spacing
To manage all methods of communications for queries and requests eg. epop/email/telephone etc.
To ensure that the Warehouse/Store is properly secured at all times and only authorized personnel have access to inventory.
To comply with all policies and procedures as well as all HSSE requirements are adhered to.
Maintain a proper filing system
Maintain professional attire according to dealership policy
To be able to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently e.g forklifts; pallet jacks etc.
Can be rotated throughout the branches of Ansa Automotive for training and or special inventory projects as mandated by management.
Is expected to handle duties stated above regardless of brand within the Automotive group.
To perform any duties which may or may not be related to the above as requested by the Manager.

Skill Requirements
Minimum 5 CXC passes
Minimum of 6 units of CAPE passes
Minimum of two years experience in inventory control
