Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure timely resolution.

• System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and update all IT systems, including servers, networks, and security systems. • Network Management: Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems for all company devices.

• Data Security: Implement and maintain data security protocols, including backups, antivirus, and disaster recovery plans.

• IT Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.

• Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors for purchasing, support, and maintenance of IT-related equipment and software. Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on IT best practices, new software, and tools.

• Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications: -

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Information Technology, or related field.

2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Experience with network management and troubleshooting. 

Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Microsoft Active Directory Administrator) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). 

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels. 

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
