The IT Technician Assistant supports the IT department by providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks.
Technical Support:
Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Provide first-line support to users by responding to IT-related queries and escalating issues as needed.
Set up and configure workstations, printers, and other peripheral devices.
System Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment, including updates, patches, and system backups.
Monitor network performance and report any irregularities or outages to senior IT staff.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
