Inventory Control Officer    

             JOB SUMMARY

To accurately maintain and update records in addition to counting supplies in stock reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Track and monitor the shelves and storeroom with incoming products/items.
  • Count inventory for official stores records.
  • Maintaining and updating records
  • Stocking, counting supplies, compiling balance, price and cost reports.
  • Check actual store inventory against computerized records.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Receive store deliveries.
  • Assist in uploading inventory from delivery truck
  • Organize inventory in stock room
  • File all delivery and inventory receipts
  • Use inventory software to keep track of orders, returns and supply
  • Do inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, trends, and issues to support decision making
  • Perform other duties assigned which is consistent with the objectives of the department 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum associates degree in Busness Administration or any related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory management or in a similar capacity 
  • Proficiency in Micrsoft Office Suites.

Inventory/Data Entry Clerk
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Maintain and update inventory databases.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Assist with the receiving and processing of new inventory shipments, including labeling and categorizing items.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, trends, and issues to support decision making
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise inventory management processes and improve effeciency.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding inventory status and data related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Certificate 
  • Associates degree or education in business or logistics, a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory or data entry preferred
  • Profiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attantion to details
  • Strong communication skills- written and verbal
  • Ability to move and lift inventory items as needed.
