The Industrial and Medical Gas (IMG) Plant Supervisor and Dispatcher manages the receipt and delivery of medical and industrial cylinders to customers, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and minimizing errors.

IMG Plant Supervisor and Dispatcher 

The IMG Plant Supervisor and Dispatcher manages the receipt and delivery of medical and industrial cylinders to customers, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and minimizing errors. The jobholder oversees work, resolve operational issues, and adhere to policies and procedures governing the unit.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Coordinates the receipt of hospitals and domestic customers’ readings to facilitate delivery of products and services as well as coordinates activities with the Pump crew. 
• Coordinates the process for the receipt and delivery of industrial and medical gases.
• Establishes and implements strategies to minimize product loss.
• Resolves operational issues related to receipt and delivery of products including disputes with customers.
• Prepares documentation related to the movement of cylinders and tracks cylinders movement.
• Ensures that the plant is operating as per established standards including the maintenance of the facility, motor vehicle fleet and equipment.
• Conducts cyclical counts of inventory and provides reports as is required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• Minimum 3 Years’ experience as a Dispatcher or in Customer Service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and workload
• Problem solving skills with the ability to use sound judgment to make decision
• Willing to be flexible and able to adjust as the need arise
