I.T Manager Guyana

We are seeking a skilled IT Manager to oversee and enhance IT services for our numerous branches in Guyana. The IT Manager will lead IT operations, provide technical leadership, and ensure all technology services support the business objectives of our branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic IT Planning: Craft and execute IT strategies that align with business goals, increasing efficiency and growth across branches.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage the maintenance, upgrades, and security of IT systems including networks, servers, and data management for all branches. Ensure high availability and performance of IT services.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, including system upgrades, migrations, and new software implementations. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
• Technical Support: Be the go-to person for resolving complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to branch operations. Serve as the primary escalation point for IT support.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure all branches comply with local and international data protection regulations. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company and customer data.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants for cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological innovation.
• Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, managing resources wisely while meeting all technical needs of the business.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels, translating technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, with experience in multi-branch environments preferred.
Proven track record in IT strategy, project management, and infrastructure development.
Strong knowledge of network administration, database management, and cybersecurity.
Exceptional leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:
Candidates must be willing to relocate to Guyana; accommodation and a vehicle will be provided.
This role may involve travel between different branches within Guyana.
Must adapt well to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
