HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

 

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions. You will be a key player in shaping a positive workplace culture and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.

 

The ideal candidate will be primarily accountable to recruit the best, brightest, most efficient and professional candidates, develop and implement programs to train, cultivate and retain the most talented and productive employees.  The successful postholder will be accountable for maximizing employee performance in line with the Company’s strategic objectives. 

To work with a focus on policies and procedures designed to manage, monitor, and correct employee behavior; to ensure adherence to policies and procedures implemented for the continued success of the company. Direct areas of accountability include employee recruitment, performance evaluation, motivation and discipline; employee benefits design and administration; employee training and development; and ancillary services management.

 

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or other related discipline.
  • Proven experience (5+ years)  human resources management experience, preferably  in the call center or hospitality industry will be an asset. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a track record of sustained success.
  • Must embody a hard work ethic, excellent diplomatic skills, and should be able to take a strategic outlook on every aspect of the job.
  • Ability to multitask and to demonstrate strong time management skills. 
  • Approachable with excellent interpersonal, analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. 
    • Versed in MS packages at an intermediate level.
    • Strong knowledge of St Lucia labour laws and IR practices.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures relating to human resource management.
    • Must be mature, confidential and professional.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to work flexible hours, occasionally including evening or weekends. Must be able to travel locally and internationally, occasionally for extended periods
