The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the organization's mission by managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws.
Develop and execute strategic human resources plans in alignment with department and district objectives.
Provide leadership and coaching to managers and professional associates, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Evaluate HR policies and procedures and recommend changes that will improve the organization's overall productivity, employee satisfaction, and legal compliance.
Create and implement professional development opportunities for staff members.
Oversee the performance management systems, ensuring they are effectively carried out and well-documented.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, retention, and separation activities.
Develop and maintain compensation and benefit programs, ensuring the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
Collaborate with senior management to understand and meet the organization's human resource needs.
Oversee and manage the HR budget and contribute to long-term financial planning efforts.
Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum 5 years proven working experience as HR Manager at a similar-sized property or other HR Executive.
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Management or Organizational Development
Ability to maintain confidentiality, remain open to others’ ideas and exhibit willingness to try new things
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Display high level of dependability, analytical and problem-solving skills
