PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

 HR Service

  • Execute HR operational tasks relating to the different stages of the employment lifecycle (recruiting, integration, engagement, departure).
  • Work with management on manpower planning.
  • Advise and support management with absence reviews and absence management.

 Benefits Administration

  • Assist with the coordination of the annuity plan and other benefit plans ensuring employees have all the relevant information.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and the annuity provider and make recommendations for improvements where necessary. 

Employee Relations

  • Develop and manage employee related programmes e.g. apprenticeship, work experience
  • Responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of rewards and recognition programmes
  • Assist when necessary in the resolution of Industrial Relations (IR) issues.
  • Assist IR Coordinator with disciplinary matters.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with IR team as required.

Other

  • Prepare reports as delegated.
  • Gather, analyze and interpret employee relations data to identify trends, training opportunities, and promote staff development.  
  • Provide support on process improvement initiatives and projects e.g. development of JD’s performance management, succession planning, etc…
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal procedures and develop HR operations and services by looking into more efficient and effective ways of performing the tasks and monitoring best practices in the market.
  • Provide ideas and contribute to the ER Department overall service, problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other related functions duties that may be assigned by management in a incidental and consequential to the position

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Qualification/Education:

  • Degree in HR or related discipline

 Skills/Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an HR generalist role  
  • Experience in IR would be an asset
  • Strong oral and written communication skill
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • A working understanding of HR best practice
  • Strong customer orientation, with a focus on delivery
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to multitask, work independently and complete priorities effectively
  • Able to produce high-quality work, including under pressure, while remaining calm, efficient and flexible
