HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

 

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resource Manager is responsible for administering the Human Resource Policies and Procedures of the company to create an environment conducive to attracting and retaining a highly motivated workforce:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Formulate and execute HR Management Policies and Programmes
  • Develop and implement policies and strategies for recruiting and retaining a dynamic team of professional and highly competent staff
  • Effectively execute the HR planning function in order to project and plan for staff turnover and training needs
  • Monitor and report on key employee/organizational development activities and measurements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • First Degree and or a Masters in Human Resource Development
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Human Resource Management at the senior level
  • Sound knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws and related Regulations
  • Effective project management and team leadership skills
  • A firm grasp of implementing change and best practices
  • Unquestionable integrity and confidentiality
  • Negotiation skills, creativity, strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of state-of-the-art HR software applications.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
