Human Resource Compliance Senior Officer (K-JESS)

KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), provides office extension support services in the JESS Operations to KPMG in the US and is seeking to hire a suitably qualified, competent, highly motivated, Senior Officer, Human Resources Compliance for the JESS HR Compliance team.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Officer in HR Compliance Services, you will support the Team Lead and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory requirements. Your role includes processing, auditing, and quality assurance of HR/Licensing documents, as well as mentoring and training team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master HR Compliance Services processes and back up the Team Lead
• Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to quality control processes
• Communicate status updates and issues to the Team Lead and staff
• Track and report turnaround time objectives
• Handle daily receipt, review, and processing of HR/Licensing documents
• Research and resolve errors, escalating compliance issues as needed
• Ensure accurate compliance tracking and reporting
• Process requests from the JESS Compliance mailbox
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as processes change
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Manage stakeholder expectations
• Mentor and train new recruits and staff members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or HR-related experience
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment
