Human Resource Analyst

Our organisation is seeking qualified Trinidad and Tobago nationals to fill the position of ‘Human Resource Analyst’.

Candidates would be required to:

  • Collects, compiles and analyses data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover and compliance with organisational policies and regulations.
  • Facilitates the coordination and execution of new employee orientation.
  • Assists with the maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Provides advice and guidance regarding the application of HRM policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Provides assistance in the performance management process in areas such as the development of position descriptions and performance standards.
  • Identifies training needs based on performance appraisal reports and liaises with the Training Academy to assist in the development of training plans and related courses.
  • Participates in the organisation’s strategic planning and change management processes.
  • Prepares comprehensive reports; drafts Notes, memoranda, and other documents related to human resource matters.
  • Drafts and circulates inter-office/departmental correspondence to action urgent/time-sensitive matters.
  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of HRM procedural manuals, desk manuals, workflow charts, data manuals and other organisational planning tools.
  • Reviews representations from employees, associations/unions and other external individuals/agencies and provides advice regarding their resolution in accordance with existing human resource management policies, procedures, regulations, related legislation and collective and other agreements.
  • Participates in meetings; prepares and circulates agenda, takes minutes/notes as required, follows up on decisions taken.
  • Participates in committee meetings and other engagements as requires.
  • Perform all other related duties.

 

Candidates would be required to have:

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of HRM.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of employee and industrial relations.
  • Knowledge of research methodologies, principles and techniques.
  • Sound knowledge of government policies, procedures, rules and regulations related to HRM.

 

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Training as evidenced by the possession of a recognised University degree with core courses in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience performing duties in one or more of the functional areas of Human Resource Management.
