SEEKING 2 CLASSES OF DRIVERS:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Checks, loads and secures the vehicle daily.
- Ensures that rental equipment is function tested prior to loading
- Drives the Truck / Forklift when necessary.
- Completes delivery and collection log sheets daily.
- Receives goods and verifies that all goods received are in the correct quantity and in good working condition.
- Records equipment hours and damages where applicable.
- Ensures that all returned goods are accompanied by the relevant paper work,
- Conducts routine maintenance checks on the TrucK.
- Secures all accessories and all other safety procedures are followed.
- Conducts housekeeping activities at the Rental yard area.
- Adheres to all ISO Standards.
- Any other related responsibilities assigned by Warehouse Manager.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
DRIVER 1:
1. Class 5: heavy T: particular experience in container holdage
At least 6 years experience
PLEA Passport & 7 point drug test mandatory
PLEA Passport & 7 point drug test mandatory
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The job requires pulling the ISO Tanker wagon with no baffles (moving liquid)
DRIVER 2:
2.Class 4 Heavy T: 3 ton truck,
candidate will have to be clean shaven at all times
