The incumbent will provide leadership of the Marketing and Communications function for the financial services group of companies, that spans the Caribbean including, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and the Cayman Islands.
Core Functions
• Provide leadership of the Marketing and Communications function for the financial services group of companies, that spans the Caribbean including, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and the Cayman Islands. This role has accountability for delivery of communication strategies and the pursuit of philanthropic objectives that provide a positive return on marketing investments and overall brand sentiment.
• Oversee the leadership of our corporate communications and crisis response framework, in partnership with key stakeholders within the Group of companies.
• Collaborate with other executives and lead where necessary, the business strategies that positively impact brand appeal in areas such as service delivery and relationship selling across all customer touchpoints.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance the Group’s brand prominence across the region.
• Ensure the appropriate utilization of appropriate traditional marketing tactics and digital marketing strategies including search engine marketing, social media communication, email, mobile and display marketing to drive increased sales conversion and widescale customer education on relevant areas that support the desired brand positioning.
• Institutionalize enterprise wide-customer personas and insights driven marketing to facilitate tailored value propositions and messaging for products and services.
• Coach, mentor and develop leadership and marketing competencies of the team.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or any other related discipline (preferably with Marketing emphasis).
• A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a senior leadership role in Marketing and Communications.
• Digital Marketing and/or Google certification.
• Agile marketing training and exposure to Agile methodology and agile marketing discipline.
