Continental Baking Company is seeking to recruit a Marketing Operations Coordinator, who will assist with administrative tasks, coordinate marketing activities and ensure the efficient functioning of the Marketing department.

Continental Baking Company is seeking to recruit a Marketing Operations Coordinator, who will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Marketing Operations within the company.  The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, coordinate marketing activities, and ensure the efficient functioning of the department.

Core Functions

  1. 1.      Administrative Support:
    • Manage the marketing department’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
    • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
    • Handle correspondence and communication for the marketing team, for instance sponsorship requests and donations.
  1. Project Coordination:
    • Assist in coordinating marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Track project progress and maintain project documentation.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support marketing initiatives.
  2. Budget and Invoice Management:
    • Assist in managing the marketing budget, including tracking expenses and processing invoices.
    • Prepare financial reports and ensure accurate record keeping.
  3. Event Coordination:
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and webinars.
    • Coordinate event logistics, such as venue booking, materials preparation, and attendee registration.
    • Assist in post-event analysis and reporting.
  4. Team Support
    • Assist marketing manager with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
    • Facilitate internal communication and collaboration within the marketing department.
    • Provide onboarding support for new marketing team members.

 

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years’ of experience in an Administrative or related role,
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desired Attributes:

  • Experience with event planning and coordination.
  • Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible to change, with a willingness to learn and grow.
