The HR Operations Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of up to ten resources, who will be performing various tasks within the Clients’ HR Operations process area.
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Operations Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of up to ten resources, who will be performing various tasks within the Clients’ HR Operations process area. Specifically, this role will ensure that all team members adhere to standard operating procedures and complete deliverables on time and within agreed upon quality metrics. The Team Lead should demonstrate leadership and team building skills to promote a cohesive and innovative environment and will report on operational achievements and issues to the KJESS HR Ops Assistant Manager, as well as to the Client’s team members who are accountable for supported work. The Team Lead is expected to become proficient in the Clients’ processes and perform them to stay current, meet expectations and support training of new team members.
Become proficient on the team’s processes supported by KJESS, and when necessary, perform these processes
Ensures standard operating procedures (SOP) documents accurately reflect the way the process is performed, updating every time a process change is administered (policy change, improvement, etc.)
Drives continuous improvement initiatives such as automation and procedural enhancements
Gains advanced knowledge of the Clients’ policies, procedures, and applications
Monitor the team’s adherence to agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLA)/metrics, and assist the HR Ops Assistant Manager with service performance (i.e. SLA) reporting
Communicate openly with the HR Ops Assistant Manager, and provide status updates, escalations as needed
Identifies and resolves operational / delivery related issues and escalates to Client stakeholders and KJESS HR Ops Assistant Manager, in accordance with the Governance structure
Perform quality check (QC) of the deliverables
Performs timely quality assurance review of team members’ delivery and ensures it meets Client’s expectations and deadlines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Equivalent Professional Accreditation
Has experience managing operational tasks/procedures including data management & manipulation as well as finance and reporting.
At least two years managing a team of at least ten resources
Three or more years of relevant work experience working within a HR Shared Services environment is preferable
